• Bed and breakfast for 1 or 2 adults (typically 2 to 14 nights).
Upstairs bedroom, overlooking front garden, on a tree-lined residential street.
  (Double brass bed — medium firm mattress 137cm/4' 6" wide.)
• Hypoallergenic synthetic filled duvet and pillows.
• Exclusive use of bathroom opposite bedroom (bathtub with overhead shower).
• Wi-Fi, TV, ample desk, chair, closet, kettle (tea etc), fan, hair dryer, shampoo & conditioner.
• Continental style breakfast served in dining room.
• Access to garden, pleasant ambience and welcoming hosts.

Nightly Tariff

• Single: £60 — Double: £80
• No deposit required, payment by cash please.
• Check in from 3 PM and check out by 10 AM.
  (If turnover allows we can be flexible on times.)

Please Note

• Our home is a non-smoking environment.
• We have a resident dog (small non-shedding poodle).
• Roadside parking is readily available (ask for free permit).
• Several restaurants, cafes, bars, shops etc are all within 5 to 10 min walk — map.
• Dry Cleaning and Laundry services are also available within 5 min walk.
• UK power is 230V (50Hz) and appliances require UK 3-pin plug or an adaptor.

Getting to us by Public Transport

Kew Gardens Station
District & Overground lines
Please check for service disruption, especially if you have a flight to catch. (In particular check the 'This weekend' and 'Future date' tabs for service disruption on the District line and if travelling from Heathrow also on the Piccadilly line.)

• From central London (also from Heathrow, Gatwick or Stanstead airports):
  Take a westbound District line train (green line) to Richmond (not Ealing Broadway).
  Exit Kew Gardens station and turn right on to North Road, then walk ≈500 m (5 min).

• From Richmond:
  Take train one stop to Kew Gardens station (District or Overground lines).
  At Kew Gardens, take underpass to opposite side of station and turn right on to North Road.

• First trains from about 6 am (7:30 am on Sunday & holidays).
• Last trains from about midnight (11 pm on Sunday & holidays).
• Peak travel is between 6:30 to 9:30 am and 4 to 7 pm Monday to Friday.

Getting to central London from Kew Gardens

• Use station underpass to cross to opposite side of North Road;
  Take any eastbound District line train from platform 2 (not Overground train).
• Alternatively, take any train to Richmond from platform 1 (same side as North Rd);
  Change at Richmond and take train to Waterloo (5 min walk from London Eye).

Visitor Oyster & Contactless Travel

Oyster Travel & Discount Card
Oyster cards are smartcards for use on London public transport (tube & bus).
They can also be used for train travel to/from Gatwick airport (and Heathrow via underground).
Cards cost £3 and must be charged with credit (available online and at most stations or newsagents).
Typically, multiple journeys between Kew Gardens (zone 3) and central London (zone1) cost less than about £8 per adult per day.

Contactless Travel
Most credit/debit cards issued within or outside the UK can also be used for contactless travel (including via your phone).
